Manila City reported a 13.08% drop in overall crime incidents in the fourth quarter of 2025, Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno Domagoso announced during the 125th Founding Anniversary of the Manila Police District (MPD).

Cases fell from 2,110 in the third quarter to 1,834 in the fourth, while crime solution efficiency rose by 9.2% under the current administration.

Domagoso credited the decline to intensified law enforcement and improved operational coordination. He led a moment of silence for fallen personnel and thanked MPD Chief General Arnold Abad and officers for their dedication to keeping Manila safe.

The mayor issued a stern warning to would-be criminals, stating, “’Pag ginawa mo ang krimen sa Maynila, may kalalagyan ka… Ngayon, bukas, sa isang linggo, sa isang buwan, kahit ilang taon pa ’yan, basta ginawa mo sa Maynila, mahuhuli ka dito sa amin,” stressing that all enforcement would remain under the justice system."

Highlighting ongoing support for the MPD, Domagoso announced the release of ₱26.03 million in allowances and formally received 20 motorcycles donated by Chiang Kai Shek College to boost patrol mobility and police visibility. He also thanked private partners for collaborating with the city government to maintain peace and order in the nation’s capital.
