A 62-year-old ride-hailing taxi driver was found dead inside his car on Monday along Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago Ave (formerly known as Dating Agham Road), Quezon City.
In a report by RH Val Gonzales, Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) investigators revealed that the victim, an unidentified male, had no external injuries.
According to a colleague of the Transportation Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) driver, the driver was found slumped over the driver’s side seat, with the car’s engine turned off.
His fellow riders suspect that he may have suffered a heart attack.
Moreover, the victim’s operator reported that the driver’s most recent booking was from last night.
He was reportedly well-known in the area because he was often seen having coffee there.
Authorities are still conducting an investigation to determine the exact cause of death of the senior citizen TNVS driver.
