

A man was arrested after allegedly threatening a resident with a replica firearm in Barangay San Isidro, San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan, on the afternoon of December 6, 2025, according to the Bulacan Police Provincial Office.
San Jose del Monte City Police Station chief PLTCOL Reyson M. Bagain said the incident occurred around 5:00 p.m. in Sitio Karahome. The 32-year-old victim reported that the suspect bumped into him and immediately became hostile, using offensive language before pulling out a firearm from his bag and pointing it at them while issuing threats.
The victim quickly sought help from barangay tanods, leading to the suspect’s swift arrest by responding police officers. Authorities later confirmed that the weapon used was a replica firearm (pellet gun). The suspect was brought to the police station, informed of his charges and constitutional rights, and subjected to a physical examination at the San Jose del Monte City Hospital.
Police said a criminal complaint for Grave Threat and possible violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) is being prepared while the investigation continues.
Bulacan Police Provincial Director PCOL Angel L. Garcillano assured the public that intensified anti-crime operations will continue, emphasizing their commitment to holding offenders accountable and maintaining peace in the province.
