Police arrested a man on Monday afternoon, March 9, after he allegedly caused a disturbance and was linked to a stabbing incident in Barangay Fatima III, City of San Jose Del Monte.

The suspect, identified only by the alias “Dondon,” a resident of the same barangay, was apprehended around 1:30 p.m. following a complaint from residents and barangay officials, including a 49-year-old woman identified by the alias "Gina."

According to PLTCOL Reyson M. Bagain, chief of the San Jose Del Monte City Police Station, barangay peace and order officers sought police assistance after the suspect reportedly created trouble in the area.

When authorities responded and attempted to calm him, the suspect allegedly became aggressive, refused to follow orders, and hurled offensive remarks at the responders, prompting them to restrain and arrest him.

Further investigation revealed that the suspect was also involved in a stabbing incident in the same barangay. He is currently under police custody and faces charges of alarms and scandals, resistance and disobedience to a person in authority, and frustrated homicide, while complaints are being prepared for filing before the Office of the Prosecutor.
