Nation's girl group BINI member Maloi will not be joining the group’s remaining scheduled activities at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 12 (U.S. time) after feeling unwell, according to an official advisory released by the group.
In a statement shared via X, BINI confirmed that Maloi will be unable to attend the April 12 commitments, adding, “as she is not feeling well.”
“Let’s continue to cheer for the rest of the BINI members, as they fulfill their other Coachella commitments,” the group said in the advisory.
Despite Maloi’s absence, the rest of the members—Aiah, Jhoanna, Mikha, Colet, Sheena, Gwen, and Stacey—are expected to continue with the group’s scheduled performances and appearances at the festival.
BINI recently made a HERstoric milestone for the Philippines as the first Filipina and P-pop girl group to perform at Coachella.
The group is set to return to the Coachella stage on April 18 (Philippine time).
Following their festival appearances, BINI is also scheduled to perform at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, California, as part of the Grammy Studios’ “Global Spin Live!” series on April 22 (Philippine time).
