Makati RTC orders arrest of Leviste over alleged Public Service Act violation

The Makati Regional Trial Court has issued an arrest warrant against Batangas 1st District Rep. Leandro Leviste over an alleged violation of the Public Service Act.
NBI Director Atty. Melvin Matibag confirmed to DZRH News that Makati RTC Branch 235 issued the warrant against Leviste.
Based on the document obtained by DZRH News, the warrant was dated Oct. 5 and signed by Presiding Judge Ricardo A. Moldez II.
The court set bail at ₱72,000.

Leviste was last reported to be in France with his mother, Sen. Loren Legarda, who is undergoing medical treatment.
