A magnitude 5.0 earthquake jolted Baganga, Davao Oriental, on Thursday, April 25, PHIVOLCS reported.

According to the state seismologist bureau's bulletin, the tectonic quake occurred at 12:20 in the afternoon.

The earthquake has a depth focus of 17 kilometers.

Meanwhile, PHIVOLCS said there are no recorded damages, but aftershocks are likely to occur.

On March 7, a 5.1 earthquake struck Banganga, but no damage to properties was reporterd.
