

A magnitude 4.7 earthquake hit Dasol, Pangasinan, on Friday afternoon, reported the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).
According to the agency’s data, the quake, which occurred at 1:23 p.m., is tectonic in origin, with a depth of 10 kilometers.

Instrumental Intensity I was recorded in Bani, Pangasinan; Intensity II was felt in Dagupan City, Lingayen, and other parts of Pangasinan; while Intensity III was experienced in Bolinao, Iba, and other areas in Zambales.
No aftershocks or damage are expected following the tremor.
