The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has revoked the driver’s license of a female vlogger following a viral video of a traffic violation incident.

According to LTO, the vlogger was identified as Ishi Lee, who was found to have filmed herself while driving, an act that constitutes distracted driving under Republic Act No. 10913 or the Anti-Distracted Driving Act.

The agency also said that Lee failed to attend the agency’s hearing and did not submit a verified explanation after being issued a Show Cause Order (SCO) for reckless and distracted driving. The order was also served to the registered owner of the vehicle involved.

Despite an earlier directive prohibiting her from driving, reports indicated that Lee continued to operate a vehicle, leading to an additional violation for driving without a valid driver’s license.

The case stemmed from a viral social media video showing Lee holding a recording device while driving and filming herself on a public road.

Following her failure to comply with the SCO and attend the hearing, the LTO proceeded with the resolution of the case and issued a Supplemental Order dated April 20, 2026. The order covered multiple violations, including reckless driving, driving without a valid license, violation of the Anti-Distracted Driving Act, and being an improper person to operate a motor vehicle under Republic Act No. 4136.

The LTO also imposed a two-year disqualification on her license renewal.

“Dahil dito, pinatawan ng LTO ang vlogger ng kaukulang multa at binawi rin ang kanyang driver’s license. Pinatawan rin siya ng dalawang (2) taong diskwalipikasyon sa muling pag-aaplay ng lisensya,” the LTO said in a statement on Tuesday.

The motorcycle involved in the incident has also been impounded and will remain in custody until its registration requirements are completed and all fines and penalties are settled.

LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Markus V. Lacanilao issued a stern warning against motorists who disregard traffic laws and LTO orders, stressing that these regulations are not optional and violations carry corresponding legal consequences.

“Hindi namin kukunsintihin ang paulit-ulit o lantaran na paglabag sa mga regulasyon sa kalsada. Ang sinumang patuloy na hindi sumusunod ay agad na papatawan ng kaukulang aksyon upang maprotektahan ang kaligtasan ng publiko,” Lacanilao said.

The LTO also directed all law enforcement agencies to arrest Lee should she be caught driving on public roads, and to file additional charges and impound any vehicle she may be operating.
