Commuters who are members of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) can enjoy free rides on LRT-2 and MRT-3 on Saturday, Feb. 14, as part of the agency’s 31st anniversary celebration and the observance of National Health Insurance Month.

The free ride program will be implemented during designated hours: from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

PhilHealth members must present either their physical PhilHealth card or a valid digital ID to avail of the free train rides.

The initiative is part of the state health insurer’s anniversary activities aimed at recognizing and giving back to its members while promoting awareness of the National Health Insurance Program.

Passengers are advised to arrive early and prepare their identification cards to ensure a smooth and orderly boarding process during the scheduled free ride periods.
