The LRT Line 2 will have shortened operating hours on Saturday, July 25, to allow repairs on the mainline track between V. Mapa and J. Ruiz Stations.
According to the LRTA, the adjustment in operations is necessary to facilitate track maintenance activities in the area.
The last train trip from Recto Station will depart at 8:00 p.m., while the final trip from Antipolo Station will leave at 7:30 p.m.
“Maglalaan ang LRTA ng mga shuttle van bilang alternatibong transportasyon para sa mga apektadong pasahero,” the LRT Line 2 said.
The LRTA, in coordination with the Department of Transportation-Road Sector, Office of the President (OP), Department of Energy (DOE), Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), and Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), will provide alternative transportation for affected passengers.
A total of six shuttle vans, four buses, and three coaster buses will be deployed to assist commuters during the shortened operations.
Regular LRT-2 operations will resume on Sunday, July 26, at 5:00 a.m.
