LPG price hike greets customers on New Year’s Day

Petron Corporation will be implementing a ₱2.18/kilo price hike in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in 2026.
For an 11-kilogram LPG tank, the price increases by ₱24.
The price hike will take effect on January 1, 2026, at 12:01 a.m.
“This reflects the international contract price of LPG for the month of January,” the company said in an advisory.
Likewise, Solane also announced that it will be raising its LPG prices by ₱2.18/kilo, also effective on January 1, but at 6 a.m.
According to the Department of Energy (DOE), the current price of an 11-kilogram tank is from ₱803.04 to ₱1,102.
