The Low Pressure Area (LPA) remains within the Philippine Area of Responsibility and was last spotted over the coastal waters of Corcuera, Romblon on Tuesday, June 17.
According to PAGASA weather forecaster Beni Estreja, the LPA is still not expected to develop into a tropical cyclone but will bring rains to many areas, including Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, the Bicol Region, and Central Luzon.
Estreja reported that there is also a high chance of rainfall in Aurora, Isabela, and Quirino due to the easterlies, or warm winds coming from the east.
The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with chances of isolated rain showers and localized thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon, typically lasting one to two hours.
In Metro Manila, temperatures may reach up to 35°C.
No gale warning is currently in effect, and small vessels are allowed to set sail in coastal areas.
