The low pressure area (LPA 03a) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) is unlikely to redevelop into a tropical depression in the next 24 hours.
As of 2:00 PM on Friday, March 13, the PAGASA said that former LPA “Nuri” is still being monitored outside PAR.
It was located at 1,700 km east of Northeastern Mindanao.
In an earlier update, the PAGASA said that “Nuri” weakened into an LPA and said that the system has no direct or indirect effect on any part of the country.
