The speculation is over: Katy Perry and former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau have officially made their relationship Instagram official!
Perry shared a cozy photo of them snuggled together against a bright fall backdrop, subtly confirming weeks of rumors.
The 41-year-old singer tucked the snapshot into a carousel of tour photos posted to her 202-million-follower account late Saturday. Her caption — “tokyo times on tour and more” — kept things understated, with only a few emojis and short video clips of the couple trying sushi.
Neither Perry, famous for chart-toppers such as “Roar” and “I Kissed a Girl,” nor the 53-year-old Trudeau has openly discussed their relationship. Still, Trudeau was spotted attending one of Perry’s concerts in July, and a video from U.S. media showing them holding hands during Perry’s birthday trip to Paris in October kicked rumors into high gear.
Trudeau, who led Canada from 2015 to 2025, added fuel to the public interest on Thursday when he reshared a photo of himself and Perry meeting with Japan’s former prime minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, Yuko.
