After nearly three years, the Filipino indie rock band “Cheats” is finally releasing new music!
The band first announced the news on their social media pages on Friday, August 15, uploading a doodle of their name and anticipated track, “Things We Used to Say.”
Subsequently, on Tuesday, August 19, the band uploaded a snippet of their upcoming single, indicating that it will be released on August 22.

This would be the band’s first release since their third album, “houseplants” in 2022.
It is currently available to pre-save on Apple Music and Spotify.
In other news, the band is celebrating the 10th year of their self-titled debut album on August 29, at the Linya-Linya headquarters in Quezon City.
“We got a long set, beer, and we’ll have special pizza at the venue,” their caption read.

“Cheats” is a seven-member indie rock band formed in 2013 by Jim Bacarro. They are composed of Bacarro, his wife, Saab Magalona-Bacarro, Candy Gamos, Manny Tanglao, Jason, Caballa, Kyle Quismundo, and Enzo Hermosa.
