Chinese actress Zhang Ying Fei, best known for her role as “Linda Walker” in the hit micro-drama “The Heiress Who Won with Brains,” arrived in Manila on Monday for a series of cultural and public engagements.

Zhang was welcomed by the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII), which is hosting her visit aimed at strengthening people-to-people ties and promoting cultural appreciation between Filipino and Chinese communities.

During her stay, Zhang is scheduled to tour Intramuros, the historic walled city of Manila, and take part in an outreach program at Quezon City High School.

Organizers said the actress will also hold a meet-and-greet session with fans on June 10 at 3 p.m. at the Atrium of SM North EDSA in Quezon City.

The City of Manila also hosted a welcome reception in her honor, highlighting her growing popularity among Filipino audiences. Zhang likewise paid a courtesy call to Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso as part of her official visit.

Zhang rose to prominence for her portrayal of the intelligent and strategic heiress Linda Walker in the micro-drama series, earning a following across Asia, including in the Philippines, where short-form dramas have gained traction online.
