LES MISÉRABLES World Tour Spectacular is set to open in Manila on January 20, 2026 at the Theatre at Solaire, featuring a lineup of West End, Broadway, and Filipino performers.
Gerónimo Rauch will play Jean Valjean, a role he has performed in both the West End and Spain. Jeremy Secomb, whose credits include Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, and Sweeney Todd, will portray Javert.
Filipino artists Lea Salonga, Rachelle Ann Go, Red Concepción, and Emily Bautista join the cast as Madame Thénardier, Fantine, Thénardier, and Éponine. More Filipino performers will join the company after local auditions in Manila earlier this year for the role of Little Cosette.
Other principal cast members include Will Callan as Marius, Lulu-Mae Pears as Cosette, Harry Chandler as Enjolras, and Earl Carpenter as the Bishop of Digne.
Rauch’s previous roles include The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera, Robert Kincaid in The Bridges of Madison County, and Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar.
Secomb has appeared in Sister Act, the London and New York revival of Sweeney Todd, and Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends in both the West End and on Broadway.
Salonga has played both Éponine and Fantine in Les Misérables on Broadway and created the role of Kim in Miss Saigon. Go has appeared in the West End and Broadway productions of Miss Saigon and starred as Eliza Hamilton in the West End. Concepción has performed in Chicago, Miss Saigon in the US and UK tours, and Priscilla: Queen of the Desert. Bautista returns to Éponine after performing the role in the North American tour.
The full company includes more than 40 international cast members. Filipino musicians will also perform live as part of the production’s orchestra, joining international musicians in playing Claude-Michel Schönberg’s score.
GMG Productions CEO Carlos Candal said the company is honored to bring the world tour to Manila and emphasized the strong Filipino representation in both the cast and orchestra.
The production features new set and lighting designs and a company and crew of more than 110 members. Since opening in 2024, the world tour has visited over 30 cities, sold more than one million tickets, and set box office records in Australia and Japan. It is currently staging a sold-out run in Shanghai before heading to Manila and Singapore.
The Manila season runs from January 20 to March 1, 2026, with final tickets available exclusively through TicketWorld.
Les Misérables The World Tour Spectacular is produced by Cameron Mackintosh and Nick Grace Management, with GMG Productions presenting the Manila season.
The creative team includes directors James Powell and Jean-Pierre Van Der Spuy, designer Matt Kinley, lighting designers Paule Constable and Warren Letton, sound designer Mick Potter, and music supervisors Stephen Brooker and Alfonso Casado Trigo.
