

A 32-year-old lending collector from Barangay Carmon, Rosales, Pangasinan, died after sustaining multiple stab wounds during an altercation with his drinking companion on Monday evening.
According to Rosales Police Chief PMaj. Noel DC Cabacungan, the incident occurred around 7 p.m. at a restaurant-bar in the town. The victim and the suspect arrived at the establishment around 6 p.m. and continued drinking until a misunderstanding broke out. The suspect briefly left, but later returned armed with a knife and repeatedly stabbed the victim without warning before fleeing on a motorcycle.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
Investigators are preparing murder charges as authorities continue to pursue the suspect.
