A 29-year-old alleged leader of the “Rasonabe Criminal Gang” was arrested in a manhunt operation conducted by a coordinated police task force on March 24, 2026, in Sitio Sapang Putol, Brgy. San Juan, Taytay, Rizal.

The arrest was carried out by a joint effort involving the Provincial Intelligence Unit–Bulacan PPO Tracker Team, Bulacan 1st PMFC, Calumpit MPS, Regional Intelligence Division 3, RSOG 3, RIU 3, Taytay MPS, and PIU Rizal PPO. Authorities said the suspect faced multiple arrest warrants issued in Rizal for violations of the Anti-Carnapping Law, robbery, and theft, with total bail amounting to ₱430,000.

Police linked the suspect to a series of thefts and robberies in Bulacan towns, including Bocaue, Calumpit, Bustos, and Balagtas, as well as parts of Rizal. He is also under investigation for his alleged involvement in a recent hold-up incident in Calumpit.

Recovered from the suspect were valuables reportedly taken from victims, including jewelry, a 9mm firearm with live ammunition, expensive mobile phones, a tablet, counterfeit IDs, and cash amounting to ₱187,000.

Authorities confirmed the suspect is already part of intelligence watchlists in Rizal and faces additional charges, including violations of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.

The suspect is currently held at the Calumpit Municipal Police Station as authorities prepare additional charges. Police operations targeting wanted criminals and organized crime groups in the region remain ongoing.
