World-renowned artist Lea Salonga is set to return to Hong Kong Disneyland as part of the theme park’s milestone 20th anniversary celebrations.
The award-winning actress and singer will take the stage for “Disney Legend Live in Concert” on January 10, 2026. The special one-night performance marks a new addition to the “Disney Live in Concert” series.
Salonga previously performed at Hong Kong Disneyland during its grand opening in 2005. For this highly anticipated return, she will be joined by a string ensemble from the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, along with the Hong Kong Disneyland Band. The concert will be conducted by her brother, Maestro Gerard Salonga.
A celebrated Disney Legend since 2011, Salonga is among the few Asians to receive the prestigious title and remains the only Filipino to be given the honor.
Fans can expect her to perform some of her most iconic Disney songs, including “A Whole New World” from Aladdin, “Reflection” from Mulan, “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes” from Cinderella, and “Let It Go” from Frozen, among other beloved classics.
The concert will also feature appearances by well-known Disney characters such as Jasmine, Mulan, Tiana, Elsa, Cinderella, and Pocahontas. These characters will appear on the Castle Stage, complemented by castle projections and pyrotechnic displays.
In addition to the anniversary event, Hong Kong Disneyland’s holiday attractions include the “A Holiday Wish-Come-True” Tree Lighting Ceremony, the Ye Olde Christmas Market, simulated snowfall in the World of Frozen, and Disney characters debuting newly designed Christmas party costumes.
