Several residential houses were damaged, and a car was buried following a landslide in Jungletown, Barangay Virac, Itogon, Benguet, on Monday, August 31.

The incident was caused by soil erosion, which sent a significant amount of earth onto the roadside and nearby residential areas.

The landslide also toppled trees, an electric post, and power lines along the road, causing additional damage to houses and making the affected portion of the road impassable.

Authorities and concerned personnel are expected to assess the extent of the damage and clear the affected roadway.
