Kylie Jenner made her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut on Monday, October 19 (PH time), wearing the lingerie brand’s record-breaking $50-million Fantasy Bra, adorned with thousands of natural diamonds and a rare yellow diamond centerpiece.
The reality television star and beauty entrepreneur walked the runway at the 2026 fashion show in Los Angeles, marking the return of the iconic Fantasy Bra to the brand’s catwalk for the first time since 2018, according to Vogue and Victoria’s Secret.
The show-stopping piece features 4,410 natural diamonds surrounding a 75.54-carat Fancy Vivid yellow diamond. Created in collaboration with luxury jeweler Jacob & Co., the bra reportedly took 15 artisans more than 1,000 hours to complete and weighs nearly four pounds.
Unlike conventional lingerie, the design was crafted entirely from gold and diamonds, with no fabric used in its construction.
Jacob Arabo, founder of Jacob & Co., said the challenge was to create a piece of high jewelry that could also function as lingerie, requiring careful attention to its fit, flexibility and comfort.
Victoria’s Secret Chief Creative Officer Adam Selman described Jenner as a “cultural powerhouse,” explaining that her influence extends beyond fashion and television.
Selman said the decision to feature Jenner reflected the show’s emphasis on fan engagement and its goal of pairing the coveted Fantasy Bra with a personality who has a significant cultural following.
The bra’s reported $50-million valuation makes it the most expensive Fantasy Bra in the brand’s history, surpassing previous designs worn by prominent models over the past three decades.
The tradition began in 1996, when German supermodel Claudia Schiffer wore the original Fantasy Bra, valued at $1 million. Other notable wearers included Heidi Klum, Gisele Bündchen and Elsa Hosk, who wore the last Fantasy Bra before its return in 2026.
Jenner’s appearance also marked a departure from the tradition of selecting Victoria’s Secret Angels to wear the signature piece. Her runway debut brought together the worlds of celebrity culture, luxury jewelry and fashion in one of the show’s most anticipated moments.
The 2026 fashion show also featured established models and musical performances, reinforcing Victoria’s Secret’s approach of combining runway fashion with entertainment.
