Singer Kris Lawrence and actress Katrina Halili announced that they are officially back together.
The couple confirmed their relationship status in the latest episode of their vlog, titled “It’s Official,” uploaded on Sunday, September 27, where they opened up about how they reconnected and eventually decided to give their relationship another chance.
During a question-and-answer portion, the couple appeared bashful when asked about their relationship. As neither of them immediately confirmed the news, their daughter, Katie, happily stepped in and made the announcement herself.
“Sila na po!” Katie shouted.
When Halili asked Katie when her parents officially got back together, their daughter said it happened at midnight on Sept. 13.
The couple then recalled how the special moment unfolded, revealing that it came after a light disagreement between them.
In a Facebook post, Lawrence also shared a selfie of the two standing together in a wide field, accompanied by a message about navigating a “new chapter” in their relationship and lives.
“New chapter,” Lawrence wrote in the caption.
“I told you I gotchu, and I meant that. No need to rush anything… One Step at a Time, enjoying where this takes us,” he added.
“All I know is I’m happy… KAMI NA bahala where this new chapter takes us,” Lawrence added.
Lawrence and Halili were in a relationship for five years before separating in 2014. They share a daughter, Katie, who was born in 2012.
Despite their breakup, the former couple maintained a positive co-parenting relationship over the years and remained open about raising their daughter together.
In recent months, the pair sparked speculation about a possible romantic reconciliation after sharing a series of social media posts and videos together.
