The New York Knicks staged a dramatic second-half comeback to defeat the San Antonio Spurs, 107-106, in Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals on Thursday (PH time), seizing a commanding 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.

Jalen Brunson scored 36 points, while OG Anunoby delivered a playoff career-high 33 points, including the game-winning tip-in with 1.2 seconds remaining, as the Knicks erased a 27-point halftime deficit at Madison Square Garden.

San Antonio appeared firmly in control early, dominating both ends of the floor en route to a 76-49 halftime lead.

The Spurs exploded for 41 points in the first quarter and maintained their offensive rhythm in the second, capitalizing on New York’s defensive lapses and cold shooting.

But the momentum shifted after the break.

The Knicks stormed back in the third quarter, trimming the deficit to 90-75 behind a more aggressive offense and improved defensive pressure.

New York continued its surge in the fourth, methodically chipping away at the lead before setting up a tense finish.

With the game on the line, Anunoby secured the offensive rebound and converted the decisive tip-in, completing one of the biggest comebacks in NBA Finals history.

Victor Wembanyama led the Spurs with 24 points and 13 rebounds, but San Antonio faltered late, unable to contain New York’s rally in the final minutes.

The loss puts the Spurs on the brink of elimination, while the Knicks move within one victory of their first NBA championship in decades.

Game 5 on Sunday, June 14 (PH time) is set to shift back to San Antonio, where the Spurs will try to keep their title hopes alive.
