The video that set social media abuzz was from the Star Magical Christmas 2025, where Kim and her former on-and off-screen partner Gerald Anderson were both honored with Loyalty Awards.

The clip showed Gerald warmly greeting Kim, followed by a friendly hug, prompting excitement among KimErald fans who have long hoped for a comeback project featuring the two.

However, Kim opted to downplay the interaction. On X (formerly Twitter), she wrote:
