Kiefer Ravena is set for a new chapter in Japan after signing with the Ryukyu Golden Kings for the 2026–2027 B.League season, the team announced.
The move marks Ravena’s third club in Japan, following previous stints with the Shiga Lakes and the Yokohama B-Corsairs. The former Ateneo de Manila University star will enter his sixth season in the league as one of its most experienced Asian imports.
Ravena, 32, is coming off a steady campaign with Yokohama, where he averaged 11.9 points while shooting 37% from beyond the arc, along with 3.3 assists and 1.8 rebounds per game.
Known for his playmaking and leadership, he is expected to bolster a Ryukyu squad that has consistently contended for championships.
The Golden Kings finished as runner-up last season after posting a 42–18 record in the eliminations. They also placed third in the East Asia Super League, reinforcing their status as one of the region’s elite clubs.
“I’m very excited to be part of the Ryukyu Golden Kings,” Ravena said in a team statement.
“As one of the top organizations in the league, I’ll be ready to do my best to represent the city of Okinawa and the fans of the Kings.”
Ravena’s arrival adds depth to an already formidable roster as Ryukyu looks to return to the top of the B.League.
