The Philippines continues its winning streak at the 33rd SEA Games as athletes bring home more medals.

Justin Kobe Macario, the country’s taekwondo delegate for Men’s Freestyle Poomsae, kicked off the gold medal haul as the first Filipino to clinch first place at the Fashion Island Shopping Mall in Bangkok.

Macario dominated the event with a top score of 8.200 points, edging out his seven competitors.

Thailand’s Koedkaew Atchariya took silver with 8.100 points, while Malaysia’s Ken Haw Chin claimed bronze with 7.740 points.
