The statues of Justice League heroes Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman were reportedly knocked over by intoxicated individuals in Iloilo.

On Tuesday, December 30, a Facebook post by Chief of Police PMaj. Bryan Alamo went viral after showing the fallen statues at a park in Pototan, Iloilo, drawing widespread attention and amusement online.

In his original post, Alamo wrote, “Mga hubog nga nagkastigo kay Superman, Batman, kag Wonderwoman gin kustudiya sa Pototan Municipal Police Station. Mga natungdan nga superhero wala guid nakabato hasta nagkalatumba.”

The incident quickly caught the attention of Facebook users, many joking that the world’s most powerful superheroes had finally met their match—not in villains, but in alcohol. Others humorously suggested that the liquor involved must have had “super-powered” effects.

Authorities confirmed that the individuals responsible were taken into custody at the Pototan Municipal Police Station.

In a follow-up post, Alamo shared an update, captioning it, “Medyo nakarecover na ang mga Super Hero ta handa na liwat nga magserbisyo…” Photos showed that the statues had already been restored and returned to their original positions.
