Four applicants are scheduled to undergo public interviews on Tuesday, October 13, with Deputy Immigration Commissioner Aldwin Alegre taking the first slot.
He will be followed by Legal Education Board Chairperson Jason Barlis, Sandiganbayan Presiding Justice Geraldine Faith Econg, and Court of Appeals Associate Justice Lily Biton.
The panel is led by Batangas 2nd District Representative Gerville Luistro and Justice Secretary Fredderick Vida, who are among the officials overseeing the candidates' public interviews.
The JBC is responsible for screening applicants and recommending qualified candidates for judicial appointments, including vacancies in the Supreme Court.
