Singer Jason Dy was starstruck after renowned pop and soul artist Sam Smith noticed his post about performing on “Your Face Sounds Familiar” locally as the British star.

“So pano po tayo kakalma???????” Jason captioned a screenshot on X of Sam Smith liking and commenting a red heart emoji on his Instagram post.

Jason couldn’t hide his excitement on Instagram either. Under Sam Smith’s comment, he responded with, “OMG HELLO,” and “R u kidding me wow hello omg.”

Jason won the second round of “Your Face Sounds Familiar” as Sam Smith, dressed in a white button-up and black tie paired with an ornate gold corset and pants.

He took home a plaque and a ₱50,000 check.
