Days after being spotted together in public, actor Jake Cuenca has confirmed that he and beauty queen-turned-actress Rabiya Mateo are "exclusively dating."

In an Ogie Diaz Vlog on Tuesday, March 31, co-host and fellow entertainment insider Loi Villarama read a message from Cuenca in response to her question about his relationship with Mateo.

“Hi, Mama Loi, yes, it’s true. It’s safe to say that she makes me happy and we’re exclusively dating at the moment,” Cuenca said in the message.

The couple had previously been seen spending time together in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), enjoying meals and attending a birthday celebration for child actress Sienna Stevens.

Their appearances together, including dining at a mall in BGC last March and exchanging messages on Instagram, had sparked dating rumors among fans.

Despite the growing public interest, Cuenca and Mateo have chosen to keep the details of their relationship private, refraining from sharing how it began.

Cuenca was previously in a relationship with Chie Filomeno, while Mateo had been dating Jeric Gonzales. Both confirmed their respective breakups in March 2026, describing them as a “mutual decision.”
