The first look at the movie adaption of the hit novel "It Ends With Us" has just been dropped!

Sony Pictures on Thursday released the first trailer of the bestselling novel by Colleen Hoover which stars Blake Lively as Lily Bloom, a florist who falls for neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid, played by Justin Baldoni.

The initial trailer shows Lily's initial meeting with Ryle in a flower shop and their subsequent steamy romance, which takes a turn after he becomes violent with her.

"We all have an idea of what love can be, that special connection you feel, that first kiss, but 15 seconds, that’s all it takes to completely change everything," Lively said in the voiceover.

The film is set to hit theaters on August 9.

It was originally slated for a February 9 release. However, production shut down in June 2023 because of the WGA strike. After the strikes ended, filming resumed in January of this year.

“It Ends With Us” is directed and executive produced by Baldoni through his company Wayfarer Studios.
