The Iglesia ni Cristo protesters have secured a rally permit from the Quezon City government on Tuesday evening, June 30. The rally will go on until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

In a report by RH 27 Noche Cacas, the protesters have been permitted to continue their rally along White Plains Avenue so long as they observe the protocols laid out by authorities to maintain order and cleanliness in the area.

According to a document signed by Quezon City Government Head III Elmo San Diego, the permit allows a demonstration in the said area from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and an estimated number of participants at 100,000.

Moreover, it stipulates that no total road closure be made and that clearance may be revoked in emergency cases and if authorities deem the participants non-compliant.

As of 6:00 p.m., the crowd estimate has reached 15,000, with 500 more attendees joining the demonstration at around 5:00 p.m.

Cacas reported that 2,000 police officers have been deployed to secure the area.

The attendees will be staying at White Plains Ave. until they are instructed to disperse tonight.
