Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Undersecretary Claire Castro assured the public that she was feeling well after drinking filtered water during a Palace briefing on Wednesday.
During Thursday’s Malacañang press briefing, Castro said she experienced no adverse effects after consuming the water, adding that members of the Malacañang Press Corps who also drank it had not been hospitalized.
“Wala, okay lang, wala. Ilang kayong uminom? Marami tayo, di ba? Marami. Pero wala naman na-hospital sa atin,” Castro said.
She cited the experience as a reason for the public to trust President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s water filtration initiative, describing the project as reliable.
“So it means, recommendable, mapagkakatiwalaan. Okay, so mapagkakatiwalaan itong proyekto ng Pangulo na ito,” she added.
Castro’s remarks came as she addressed questions about the safety of the filtered water served during the previous day’s briefing.
