The Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) will file charges before the Office of the Ombudsman against Senator Bong Revilla, Carlo Aguilar, and other officials in connection with alleged irregularities in infrastructure projects.
ICI Chairman Andy Reyes said the commission’s recommendations include cases of direct or indirect bribery, corruption of public officials, and plunder.
In addition, the commission recommended that four former and current senators — Chiz Escudero, Nancy Binay, Grace Poe, and Mark Villar — undergo further investigative review and case buildup.
Reyes emphasized that the commission continues to examine all evidence thoroughly to ensure a fair and proper process, though no exact date has been set for the submission of their recommendations to the Ombudsman.
