A day after taking their oath of office, the members of the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) formally began their investigation into the irregularities in infrastructure and flood control projects nationwide.

On Tuesday, September 16, the independent body, led by Chairperson Justice Andres “Andy” Reyes Jr., together with members Rogelio “Babes” Singson and Rossana A. Fajardo, met with several personnel at the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) headquarters.

The members took their oath of office on Monday afternoon, before the Court of Appeals Justice Pedro Corales.

All three members were present, including the independent commission’s Special Adviser, Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong.
