The International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecution has submitted its final list of witnesses and evidence in the crimes against humanity case against former President Rodrigo Duterte.

In a filing dated August 31, 2026, Deputy Prosecutor Mame Mandiaye Niang submitted the documents to Trial Chamber III in compliance with the chamber’s order.

The witness list was designated as Annex A, while the evidence list was submitted as Annex B. Both annexes were filed confidentially due to sensitive information involving witnesses.

Duterte is facing three counts of crimes against humanity, including murder and attempted murder, in connection with the killings linked to his anti-illegal drugs campaign during his tenure as Davao City mayor and president.

The ICC trial is scheduled to begin on November 30, 2026.

The prosecution had previously disclosed plans to present around 60 to 70 witnesses and thousands of pieces of evidence.

It also earlier reported that at least 6,909 pieces of evidence had been turned over to the defense between January 7 and July 31.
