South Korean superstar Hyun Bin is set to show a darker side as he takes on his first-ever villain role in the Disney+ series “Made in Korea.”

The 43-year-old actor shifts from his fan-favorite and heroic role as Lee Jung-hyeok in "Crash Landing on You" to a cold and calculating Korean Central Intelligence Agency agent. In “Made in Korea,” Baek Gi-tae is driven by ambition and greed, resorting to extreme measures—including drug trafficking—to gain power and wealth.

The series follows Hyun Bin’s acclaimed 2024 film comeback in "Harbin," where he played independence activist Ahn Jung-geun (1879–1910). Both projects are directed by Woo Min-ho, with "Harbin" later winning Best Film at the 2025 Baeksang Arts Awards.

Joining Hyun Bin is Jung Woo-sung, who plays prosecutor Jang Geon-young, a man relentlessly determined to take Baek Gi-tae down. The project also marks Jung’s return to acting following a widely publicized personal controversy in 2024.
