A Highway Patrol Group (HPG) officer was injured following a hit-and-run incident along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) on Saturday, June 6.
In a statement, the PNP Highway Patrol Group confirmed that the incident occurred along SLEX southbound near the MCX Exit in San Pedro, Laguna.
“The Highway Patrol Group confirms that one of its personnel was involved in a hit-and-run incident along SLEX Southbound near the MCX Exit, San Pedro, Laguna, on 06 June 2026. The personnel concerned is currently in stable condition after sustaining minor injuries,” the statement read.
Authorities said the injured personnel is now in stable condition.
An investigation is ongoing in coordination with SLEX management to identify and locate the driver responsible for the incident.
“The public is encouraged to provide any relevant information that may assist authorities in the investigation,” the HPG added.
