The House prosecution panel formally presented the order of the Articles of Impeachment against Vice President Sara Duterte during the first day of her impeachment trial on Monday before the Senate sitting as an impeachment court.

House prosecutor Rep. Chel Diokno outlined the sequence of presentation after being recognized by the presiding officer and Senator-Judge Francis"Chiz" Escudero.

The agreed order of presentation is as follows: (1) Article 4 – Grave Threats, (2) Article 1 – Confidential Funds, (3) Article 3 – Bribery, and (4) Article 2 – Unexplained Wealth.

“The first article we will be presenting will be Article Four on grave threats. Second will be confidential funds, Article One. Third, bribery, that is Article three. And the fourth is unexplained wealth… I stand corrected, article two,” Diokno said.

Senator-Judge Escudero confirmed the sequence in open court.

“So the sequence of presentation shall be article four, article one, article three, and then article two,” Escudero said.

The impeachment trial proceeded with the prosecution formally setting the framework for its presentation of evidence as proceedings opened.
