The House of Representatives will return to its regular full on-site work arrangement beginning June 1, following the suspension of its previous hybrid setup implemented for energy conservation.

Based on a memorandum issued by House Secretary General Cheloy Garafil, officials and employees of the House are required to report on-site from Monday to Thursday under a 10-hour work schedule.

The directive marks the end of the adjusted work arrangement previously adopted by the chamber as part of cost-saving measures amid rising fuel and electricity prices.

The hybrid work scheme had been implemented in line with Malacañang’s earlier directive encouraging government agencies to observe energy conservation protocols during the oil price crisis.

The House administration said the return to a full on-site schedule aims to normalize legislative operations while maintaining efficiency in lawmaking processes.
