House elects 5 lawmakers to Commission on Appointments in special session

The House of Representatives on Wednesday elected five lawmakers to the Commission on Appointments during a special session convened on Wednesday, part of the legislative agenda called by President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr.
Elected as members of the Commission on Appointments were:

Rep. Paolo Ortega V

Rep. Jose Teves Jr.

Rep. Franz Pumaren

Rep. Wilfrido Mark Enverga

Rep. Mercedes Alvarez.
The slate of nominees was presented and elected under House Majority Floor Leader Rep. Sandro Marcos during the plenary session.
The House of Representatives convened at exactly 9:00 a.m. as part of a special session called by the president to tackle priority legislative matters.
