The House of Representatives has confirmed receipt of the revised travel clearance request of Davao City 1st District Representative Paolo "Pulong" Duterte, but no decision has been made yet.

According to Atty. Jose Marmoi Salonga, executive director of the Office of the House Secretary General, Duterte’s initial request covered travel from December 15, 2025, to February 20, 2026, to 17 countries. The request was returned for revision due to overlaps with official session days and the need for additional travel details.

Duterte submitted a revised request on December 15, 2025, seeking clearance to travel from January 3 to January 30, 2026, to the Netherlands and Australia. He said the trip is intended to visit his father, former President Rodrigo Duterte, who is detained in The Hague, and to see his child, who is studying in Australia.

The lawmaker clarified that all travel expenses will be paid using personal funds. The revised request is currently under evaluation in accordance with the House rules, administrative procedures, and official session schedules.
