“It’s Showtime” host Cianne Dominguez appealed to the motorcycle rider who allegedly hit her car and fled the scene in Antipolo City to contact her, as she shared dashcam footage of the incident on social media.
Dominguez posted clips of the incident on Facebook on Monday, October 5, showing her vehicle slowing down to allow a tricycle to cross along the Antipolo Circumferential Road.
A motorcycle carrying a rider and a passenger then crashed into the rear of her vehicle before leaving the area, according to Dominguez.
“Antipolo circumferential area papuntang St. Peter. May bumangga sa likod ko and then tumakbo,” she said in her post.
Dominguez said two young members of her family were inside the vehicle when the incident occurred.
Expressing frustration over the incident, the television host said that even careful motorists can encounter reckless riders on the road.
“’Di ko alam talaga bakit ako lapitin ng mga kamote sa daan talaga. Kahit anong ingat at ayos mo mag-drive, di mo talaga maiiwasan yung mga gantong riders,” Dominguez wrote.
She also directly appealed to the motorcycle rider to contact her privately before she seeks assistance in identifying and locating those involved.
“You better message me privately bago kita ipa-track down beh. Natatandaan ko mga mukha niyo,” she said.
Dominguez also tagged the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in her social media post as she sought attention for the incident.
The dashcam footage she shared may help identify the motorcycle and the individuals involved, although Dominguez has yet to announce whether the rider has contacted her or whether she has filed a formal complaint.
As of writing, no further update has been provided by the television host regarding the incident.
