Filipino-American singer H.E.R. puts the sights, sounds and everyday charm of Manila at the center of her latest music video, “BRB,” featuring actress Liza Soberano.

The newly released video takes viewers through familiar scenes across the Philippine capital, from busy streets and neighborhood homes to jeepney rides, sari-sari stores and local street food.

The visuals offer a glimpse of Filipino life and culture while accompanying the track’s message of home and connection.

H.E.R. called the project a “love letter to the Philippines” as she announced the release of the full music video, with “BRB” now available on streaming platforms.

The song serves as part of the soundtrack for “Forgotten Island,” an upcoming animated film inspired by Filipino culture and mythology.

The film centers on childhood best friends Raissa, voiced by Soberano, and Jo, voiced by H.E.R., who find themselves stranded on a mysterious island and embark on a journey to find their way home.

“Forgotten Island” is scheduled to premiere in cinemas nationwide on Sept. 23.

Also lending their voices to the film are Lea Salonga, Dave Franco, Dolly de Leon, Jo Koy, Manny Jacinto, Jenny Slate and Ronny Chieng.

The film’s soundtrack brings together several Filipino and international artists, including P-pop groups BINI and SB19, KATSEYE’s Sophia Laforteza, Salonga, Soberano and H.E.R., among others.
