The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is prepping the traffic management from August 25 to 30, as they will be hosting the 14th WorldSkills ASEAN Manila 2025.
The following venues around Pasay City will be used for the event on the following dates:
- August 25 - Marriott Grand Ballroom
- August 26 to 28 - World Trade Center
- August 30 - SMX Convention Center Manila
Motorists are advised to avoid the said locations as the event is expected to draw over thousands of attendees. This includes participants, students, teachers, representatives from the education and government sectors, industry partners, and the public.
The MMDA is set to deploy at least 85 personnel to implement traffic management measures and emergency preparedness along the following key routes in Metro Manila, such as: airport to billeting hotels, competition venues, and other official engagement areas.
In addition, the agency said it will be in close coordination with the Philippine National Police (PNP), local traffic units, and concerned government agencies.
