Resigned Ako Bicol Party-list Rep. Elizaldy Co claimed in a video released Sunday that he has received threats to his life should he disclose details of the alleged transactions behind the anomalous flood control projects.
“March 2025 pa lang, si Speaker (Martin Romualdez) ay nagpaparinig na sa akin sa aming meeting that he will shoot me if I will talk. At pagkatapos niyang sabihin sa akin in a phone call na, ‘Don’t come home, we will take care of you,’ tumawag ulit si Speaker Martin at sinabihan niya ako pag umuwi ako, will be dangerous kasi they might hire someone to do a robout on me or hire the police to kill me while in jail,” Co explained.
He promised to upload a list of the project insertions he made, along with video evidence.
Co warned these revelations will result in more cases filed against him and threats made to his and his family’s lives—all in an attempt to silence him.
However, Co said he plans to reveal more:
He earlier accused President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. of having ordered him to make an insertion of ₱100 billion in projects and uploaded pictures of suitcases which had been allegedly used in the delivery of cash to Marcos’ and his cousin Romualdez’s residences.
