Harry Styles gave fans a memorable way to close out the year as he officially ended his two-year break from music with an unexpected release.
The Grammy Award–winning singer quietly uploaded an emotional piano performance on YouTube, filmed during the final night of his "Love On Tour" in July 2023. The eight-minute composition, titled “Forever, Forever,” marked his first new musical offering since stepping away from the spotlight.
As the video opened, fans were shown gathering outside the RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia, Italy, speculating about what the night might bring. The opening moments also captured concert staff spraying water on attendees waiting under the intense heat as the afternoon faded into the evening.
Moments later, Harry, now 31, took the stage wearing a sparkling gold sequined vest paired with matching pants. He made his way toward a grand piano and addressed the crowd in Italian, saying, “I wrote this song for you.”
The performance featured no lyrics, focusing entirely on the instrumental composition. After finishing the piece, the former One Direction member expressed his gratitude to the audience before standing up, blowing kisses, and taking a bow.
The video concluded with a wide shot of the crowd as the words “We belong together” appeared on screen.
