The southwest monsoon, locally known as habagat, will bring rains over Luzon and the western section of Visayas on Tuesday, June 2, according PAGASA.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the state weather bureau said Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, and Occidental Mindoro will experience occasional rains due to the southwest monsoon.

Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and Western Visayas will also have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms brought about by the habagat.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
